The Edge Performance Series: Strengthening

Join Rita Detmer, of The Edge Performance, for a three part seminar series on November 1st, 8th, & 15th.  The sessions will be held from 7:15pm -7:45 pm  at Up and Running on the respective dates.  Rita Detmer is a National Certified and State Licensed Athletic Trainer and a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  Rita has designed and implemented various workouts and sports programs for every aged athlete.  Rita has been working in the fitness industry for over 10 years and with her strong background in fitness and athletics she brings great knowledge to her fitness programs.

Session 3 November 15th-Strengthening:  Rita will demonstrate proper exercises that can be completed at home or at a park to prevent injuries and increase running performance.  Exercises will be body weight exercise specific to upper and lower body training using no extra equipment.  The core is an essential part of a runners body and Rita will cover specific core strengthening exercises for runners.
